MK60 Standalone ABS System – Upgrade To E46 ABS

The Epic Motorsports standalone wiring harness makes upgrading your racecar to an E46 M3 ABS system or removing excess wiring from your E46 M3 a relatively easy job. This professional quality harness plugs directly into your customer-supplied 09/2002+ E46 M3 ABS unit and wheel speed sensors. It  requires 5 additional wire connections to have a complete running system. Our harness also includes a pin for OBDII plug diagnostics and a warning light to indicate if something is not functioning properly.

Kit does not include speed sensors or ABS unit.

E92 Retune

It’s been a while since we have had time to post anything but figure this is worthy of taking a second to do so. We took an E92 that had already been tuned by another “tuner” and spent some time on the dyno with it. The car picked up 20+ and lots of area under the curve.

S54 S62 Standalone Conversion, EWS Removal, Optional Wiring Harness

With our standalone kit you can now easily swap an S54 or S62 engine into racecars or other model street cars. The factory ECU is purpose-built to run the S54/S62 engine and it is by far the most refined for the task. Although the ECU does not allow user tuning,  you don’t have to hire a tuner to babysit your ECU at the track or get it started on a cold morning.  There are compensation tables built in for almost every condition. We also retain both drive-by-wire and dual-VANOS so your engine runs optimally. Retaining these helps make the most power possible at all RPMs and with smooth throttle application that a manual throttle conversion will not allow.

The base kit includes ECU modification (your ECU is required) only. A drive-by-wire pedal cable and pigtail with all wires labeled for wiring into the chassis is available as an option. The optional kit includes wires for:

  • Power
  • Ground
  • RPM
  • Fuel pump relay trigger
  • Diagnostic pin
  • CAN low/high (if needed – AiM data typically)

Please allow 2-3 weeks for ECU modification. You will not have cruise or AC compressor wiring (can be manually switched if needed).  While you will be able to read diagnostic codes through an OBD-II port(port not included and must be customer installed),

We do not include technical assistance for installing an S54 or S62 engine in your car with the purchase of this kit. Due to the wide range of  BMW models the S54 or S62 can be swapped into, you will need a wiring diagram for your car. We do not include wiring instructions.

Performance software not included. We recommend Epic Motorsports calibrations for the most power from this system.

E36/E46 Oil Cooler Diverter Valve For Euro S52 and S54

Extremely important on E36 Euro and S54 engines!

The factory oil cooler (found stock on E36 Euro M3 and S54 engines, also a common upgrade for track and forced induction cars using an oil cooler) have a thermostat that closes off the cooler path until the engine is up to temperature, then runs only a portion of the oil flow through the cooler once warm.

Our Oil Cooler Diverter Valve quickly remedies this issue by making the cooler full-flow – or diverting all oil through the cooler for maximum cooling effect. This will typically bring down stubborn oil temperatures 30+ degrees on tracked engines using the stock cooler configuration.

Install in just 5 minutes (once housing is removed) into the factory oil filter housing with oil cooler fittings. Not recommended for street cars without the addition of a performance inline thermostat.
